Our practice coaches are industry experts, with a combined over 120 years of industry experience and over 80 years of veterinary management experience. Credentials within the group include: MBA in Healthcare Administration, Certified Veterinary Technician, Compassion Fatigue Certification and Certified Veterinary Practice Managers. And all coaches bring with them a veterinary toolbox of proven techniques and a commitment to provide the most up-to-date information and resources.

Starting at the Beginning

VGP practice coaches work directly with practice owners, practice managers, and other members of your leadership team to create and implement a strategic plan (Pathway Plan™) for your practice.

After conducting a Practice Health Assessment, your coach will create a custom plan that includes actionable recommendations for improving your operations and profitability.

In addition, your practice coach will help you identify your top five areas of opportunity, work with you to generate a one-year plan, and provide resources to help you complete all other components — statement of purpose, target market, short- and long-term goals, and more — of your Pathway Plan.

Maintaining momentum

Through quarterly phone calls and regular check-ins, VGP coaches will continue to help you succeed by holding you and your leadership team accountable to proven Pathway standards. They also work continuously to create new resources for you, such as our weekly online sessions where we address common problems and give you immediate tools to solve them.
